The beachfront property offered stunning views of the ocean right from our room which felt like a perfect paradise for strolls along the uncrowded beach just steps away or enjoying the local scenic spots like Airlie Gardens which is only about a 10-minute drive away while the staff was incredibly friendly and the restaurant served delicious bar food in the evenings along with great breakfast options but it could definitely use some upgrades as our room seemed a bit tired with older furniture and a shower that was hard to use for taller guests.

The location is unbeatable, and the friendly staff contribute positively to the experience. the accommodations need serious upgrades. Rooms feel outdated; uncomfortable furniture and inferior linens gave us pause. The lack of housekeeping services was disappointing and inconvenient. While the initial room wasn’t clean, the staff’s prompt response was appreciated. An upgraded room with a beautiful ocean view made afternoons enjoyable. Still, noise from adjacent rooms is disruptive. I expect better quality for the price. They must enhance their facilities to match guests' expectations. A beautiful view cannot mask the need for improvement in basic hospitality and upkeep.

Breathtaking ocean views from every room were great. The kitchen was poorly equipped, barely enough utensils for cooking. Enjoyed easy beach access. Could use more housekeeping during our stay since we had issues with cleanliness.

The staff was amazing and quick to help when we needed a new room. The kitchen was a lifesaver—made breakfast easy with a five-year-old in tow!

The staff were so friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home! We loved the spacious room with stunning beach views and a cozy living area. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying breakfast on our balcony was pure bliss!

Our window leaked during the storm, soaking everything. We had to pack up and move rooms ourselves on our last night, which ruined any chance of relaxing. No compensation offered!

The sea-facing view was remarkable; truly a highlight of our stay. The balcony, glass-enclosed and almost new, provided a magnificent view. The bed was comfortable, though the sheets had a yellow stain and the pillows were somewhat poor. I had issues with the sofa bed’s mattress, which had mold and stains. Noise from above could be heard at night; opting for the top floor might help. The exercise room was lacking, and the restaurant operated limited hours. An effort is needed for better cleaning; the floor had sand upon arrival.

The location right on the beach was simply stunning, and we loved having easy access to the waterfront for relaxing walks and shell collecting. The indoor and outdoor pools, along with the outdoor hot tub, were also a nice touch and provided ample relaxation opportunities. there were some notable areas that could use improvement. One major issue was the leaking window in our room, which soaked the floor during a rainstorm. This incident led to an inconvenient room change on our last night, requiring us to pack and unpack our belongings multiple times. We also encountered several maintenance issues, such as plumbing problems and malfunctioning elevator doors. The cleanliness of the rooms and building was not up to par, with visible signs of disrepair like falling ceiling material and rusting shower curtain rods. the lack of amenities like dish rags for washing dishes was a small inconvenience, and the understaffed property led to operational challenges like early restaurant closures and unavailability of ice due to maintenance issues. In summary, while Shell Island offers a fantastic location and spacious rooms, there are notable areas that need attention, particularly in terms of maintenance, cleanliness, and experience.

The oceanfront room had stunning views and plenty of space for our family. The separate bedroom was a game changer with kids around! Two toilets? Brilliant idea. our experience was marred by maintenance issues; no water and poor communication from the staff was frustrating. The furnishings felt worn and needed an upgrade, with stained couches and a tricky shower faucet. It was cozy enough, but the discomfort of the beds and old kitchenware was disappointing. Beautiful location and friendly staff could only do so much to mask these problems. Wouldn’t rush to return without improvements.

The beachfront view was stunning, enjoyed waking up to the ocean right outside our window every morning. The option of indoor and outdoor pools was a nice touch, perfect for relaxation after a day of exploring. The convenience of a well-appointed kitchenette was a lifesaver on days when the on-site restaurant was closed.
The cleanliness of the room left much to be desired, as we found sand all over the floor upon arrival.

I had a blast enjoying the waves from my balcony, and the bar staff made me feel like royalty. So posh! The meeting space for us corporate folk was top-notch too.

Had a cozy, comfortable room with ocean views from balcony, perfect for a romantic escape. Great beach for shell hunting and less tourists around for added privacy. Front desk staff quickly brought extra towels and pillows, making us feel well cared for.

Our family had a wonderful stay at an oceanfront suite with separate bedrooms and two bathrooms. The views from the balcony were breathtaking, and the layout provided ample space for our family of six. The convenient bathroom setup made it easy with multiple kids. Despite a few minor inconveniences, we enjoyed our time at Shell Island Resort - All Oceanfront Suites and would recommend it to others. I'll recommend this hotel.

I chose Shell Island Resort - All Oceanfront Suites for its proximity to Airlie Gardens, and the high-speed internet access pleasantly surprised me. The oceanfront restaurant and tiki bar offered delicious appetizers and drinks with a fantastic view of the beach.

the bed was outstanding, and the ocean view from the balcony was top-notch. the room suited us just fine and the easy beach access was a plus. overall - great value for money and a very romantic place.

stayed at shell island resort - all oceanfront suites and had a wonderful oceanfront balcony to view the ocean, white sand, and blue blue water. the location is perfect for exploring, and we even saw dolphins from our balcony. the facility was very clean, and the food was excellent. the non-smoking beach was a plus, and the front desk was always helpful for any needs we had.

Our family had a fantastic time at a beachfront resort that offered a safe and peaceful environment for us to enjoy. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction, especially Nico, who provided excellent service and made us feel like VIPs. The room was recently renovated and boasted breathtaking ocean and inlet views. The commitment to nature conservation was truly commendable, with protected sea bird nesting and turtle nests nearby.
Thin walls allowed some late-night noise disturbance from a neighboring room, but the issue was promptly resolved by the attentive front desk and security staff.
